Progressive Web Apps Using the cloud we can develop complete applications that are accessible from anywhere and visible on all devices (mobile phones, tablets and PCs). We use Progressiv Web Apps technology to develop these software that can even be installed as Apps on the device without going through Google Play or Apple Store. Moreover these applications allow the company to not keep internal servers with related purchase and maintenance costs and are easily scalable.
To develop these applications we normally use REST (Representational State Transfer) technology as back-end technology and Angular or React as front end. The data is saved on RDS (Relational Database Service) databases and Machine Learning algorithms can be added to improve the functionality.
We also use the cloud to give access to online services and synchronize data locally for terminals, for example every day we make thousands of payments with payment terminals and synchronize the catch of more than 4000 fishermen from the product reception pier.

RDS (Relational Database Service)

Database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server) in the cloud, applications can connect to data from anywhere. The service can be Multi-AZ, ie the database is replicated on different geographical areas to ensure full availability

EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud)

Web service that provides secure and scalable computing capacity in the cloud; it's accessabile from anywhere and you no longer need an internal server (with the related maintenance costs).

NGINX (Load balancer)

Using NGINX we distribute the processing load of a specific service among multiple servers, thus increasing the scalability and reliability of the architecture as a whole

REST (Representational State Transfer)

Data transmission system via HTTP in stateless mode, back-end applications that allow access to view and update data in the cloud

PWA (Progressiv Web Applications)

Web application usable from any type of device and on any operating system. The application can be used via a normal browser or installed directly as an app on the device.
